Effects of Erosion
Effects of Erosion
Following the removal of some of the spent shale from the bing, erosion has created some bizarre shapes. The lumps are semi-consolidated blocks which have fallen from higher up and gathered in the hollow, and are surrounded by loose material. Behind them is a bike track, and in the background is the farmof Fairniehill, previously called East Pardovan.
