Cuckmere River
Cuckmere River
A view between the two river walls that were built after the Second World War to enable the river to flow through the shingle into the sea. As can be seen the river is very shallow at low tide and can be forded on foot. Windover Hill can be seen in the distance the only spot still bathed in sunshine.
