Shermanbury: The Parish Cemetery and Chapel
Shermanbury: The Parish Cemetery and Chapel
Tucked away down Fryland Lane is Shermanbury's Parish Cemetery and Chapel. The Cemetery would seem to have been created in late Victorian times as it is not shown on the large scale Ordnancs Survey map of 1874 but is present on the edition of 1897 where the building is described as a Nonconformist Mortuary Chapel.
