The name of the field according to Seaford's 1839 tithe map that now lies between the New Cut and the old meanders of the former river's course. Once salt marsh it is now used as pasture. To the left is the boathouse whilst at the far end is Exceat Hill. See also TV5199 : Upper Salts (2).
