In Bathing Well Woods
In Bathing Well Woods
Following the public footpath from Fulwith Mill Lane towards the River Crimple and beyond in well established woodland. Many years ago when the trees around here were much less mature there was a tiny triangle of established garden, with flowers, ferns and a well, that some unsung individual must have maintained - which I presume was Bathing Well. There is now no evidence that it was ever there, as the passage of time and encroachment of wilder vegetation have obliterated all traces.
