Wooden Pinnace, October 2013
Wooden Pinnace, October 2013
Here we see - at long last - what I believe to be the colour in which the pinnace was painted. She appears to have been of a white, or cream, colour; a wooden Pinnace of cream is pictured afloat in Ted Sutton's 1997 photograph of the chain ferry on the south shore.

A wooden pinnace of similar size is shown wrecked in a 1999 aerial photograph of the Lake, which leads me to believe that this pinnace was abandoned at the Lake at some point between 1997 and 1999.
