The present church of All Saints at Biddenden replaced a Saxon wooden church which stood on the site. It was mostly built in the 13th century and had reached its present size by 1300, although the tower is late 15th century.
The Flower Festival has been going for 35 years and the 2013 Flower Festival with the theme of Harvest took place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 27th - 29th September. It included several scarecrows created by local children.
