Detail on a monument, Warton graveyard
Carved flowers on one of the grander funerary monuments at St. Oswald's Church graveyard, Warton. I am not sure of the symbolism (if any) but the flowers could be representing renewal or rebirth as a metaphor for resurrection of the deceased's soul.
