Cowpat fungi at Awre
Cowpat fungi at Awre
Beautiful orange discs of a cup fungus [an Ascomycete - Coprobia granulata]. Common on cattle dung everywhere, if one looks, and one of a group of specially adapted fungi without which we would be up to the oxters in 'stuff' - important recyclers.
