The village of Horsmonden is two miles away and St Margaret's Church is attended now by a lodge, a cottage and a group of oast houses. The tower of the church is 15th century and the body of the church is early 14th century. It was much restored in the middle of the 19th century.
The church was decorated on this weekend for the Harvest Festival. This display was inside the tower at the entrance to the church.
