Y Gegin Fawr
Y Gegin Fawr
"The Big Kitchen" - according to a plaque on the building (see SH1726 : Plaque, Y Gegin Fawr), it dates dating from around 1300 and was once a communal kitchen where pilgirms en route to Bardsey Island could claim a meal. It is now a café. Grade II listed - see LinkExternal link (although this suggests it is only 17th century).

The bridge behind, Pont Fawr, over Afon Daron, dates from the 19th century and is also Grade II listed - see LinkExternal link.
