Remains of Slip Bridge, Swansea
Remains of Slip Bridge, Swansea
A plaque records that Slip Bridge was opened on October 7th 1915. It spanned Oystermouth Road and the Mumbles Railway line. The bridge was removed for structural repairs in 2004. Swansea council then decided it was too costly to put it back. It now rests on the promenade nearby. LinkExternal link
A structure similar to the one seen here remains on the camera side of the road. LinkExternal link
