Rubble on Spurn beach
Rubble on Spurn beach
The seaward side of the Spurn peninsula is strewn with the remains of former defensive structures, which, like the land itself here, are at the mercy of the tides. This is close to the narrowest point, where high tides breach what remains of the land.
