A slipway at Porth-y-wrach
A ferry across the Menai once operated from this point. The landing slip was concreted to meet war time needs. It is now owned by Cyngor Sir Mon/Anglesey County Council. Some boat owners have expressed fear that nearby luxury flat development might lead to the closure of the slipway.
