Moving something heavy, New Street station rebuild, Stephenson Street
Moving something heavy, New Street station rebuild, Stephenson Street
Stephenson Street, left, is full of contractors and machines working on both the station refurb and the Metro (tram) extension. On the right are the doors to the new passenger concourse, not yet fully open. The mirrored wrapping of the station site extends to the underside of the floors above. You see the street reflected upside-down, but the novelty soon wears off.
