74 Princess Street, Manchester
A rare, possibly unique, incursion into Manchester of Scottish Baronial. Corner turrets with corbelling and crowned by conical roofs, and gables topped by paired chimneys. Some good moulded detail to the entrance and windows. By Corson & Aitken, 1880. Corson was Scottish. Grade II listed.
Adjacent to Rochdale Canal, it was originally a shipping warehouse but now houses serviced flats, the Atrium.
