Replanted forest in Cwm Cloddiad, Powys
Hidden in the dip just beyond the rosebay willowherb flower/seed spikes in the centre of the image is the mountain road between Abergwesyn and Tregaron via Cwm Tywi and Cwm Camddwr. To the right is the Devil's Staircase, a very severe hairpin descent into Cwm Irfon, so heavy timber lorries must go left down the steep but straighter descent into Cwm Tywi, to reach a safer route southwards out of the Tywi Forest.
