Bus on Newport Bridge
Bus on Newport Bridge
Spanning the River Usk, this bridge was opened in 1927 replacing a bridge dating from 1800.
Although Newport was granted city status in 2002, the bridge is still often referred to the Town Bridge.
In this picture, the river was approaching low tide.
The large office block is Clarence House.
