TQ3686 : Friends Bridge

taken 19 years ago, near to Leyton, Waltham Forest, England

Friends Bridge
Friends Bridge
Half way up the left side of the grid square, looking south towards Hackney. This bridge crosses the River Lea taking the Lee Valley Pathway across the Lea connecting Waltham Forest with Hackney. It is also on route 1 of the Sustrans National Cycle network. It is supposed to look like a leaf opening! Pity about the graffito.
