Traws-nant, Eglwyswen
The patch of four fields mid-frame is Traws-nant, the highest settlement in the parish of Eglwyswen. The house was in the small enclosure to the right. A single female farmer occupied it in the censuses of 1871, 1881 and 1891. In 1901 it was abandoned. Above is Foel Drygarn.
