The Old Monmouth
The Old Monmouth
Now a characterful holiday home, this was originally a coaching inn dating back to 1630. The Monmouth connection comes from 1685, when the Duke of Monmouth's cavalry took residence. Oscar Wilde also visited here in 1891 and the inn also hosted American officers during the build up to D-Day.
