The Bailiff's House (1), 68 & 69 High Street, Bewdley, Worcs
This Grade II listed building dates from 1607-1610. Originally it was the home of Thomas Bolston or Boylston, the local Bailiff, and it reflects his importance in the town. This building still has its timber framing but many of the older buildings in the town had Georgian fronts added, which conceals the fact they are older than they look.

For some years this was James' pub and restaurant, but early in 2010 it re-opened under new management as The Bailiff's House, a bar and restaurant.
