NZ9701 : An abundance of berries

An abundance of berries
An abundance of berries
It's been a great year for fruit. The birds that do not migrate, will have a winter feast. As freezing temperatures roll in, food gets scarce. A very important food source for them during these lean months are the nuts and berries that remain on certain plants well into winter. This is a fruitful rowan tree growing beside the cinder track.
