Town Pill, Newport
Located on the west bank of the River Usk, Town Pill is a tidal inlet which formerly extended westwards to the edge of the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal. The canal is now disused in the Newport area, and ends at Crindau Pill at the bottom of Barrack Hill, nearly a kilometre NNW of this point.
