South Africans at Trent Bridge, 1998
South Africans at Trent Bridge, 1998
Following the end of apartheid and the years of sporting isolation, South Africa played a Test Match at Trent Bridge for the first time since 1965. These big fellows were the first spectators to watch a Test Match from these seats in Row F of the Radcliffe Road Middle Tier as the stand had been officially opened by Sir Garfield Sobers only the previous day.
