Bermondsey Spa gardens, western entrance
Bermondsey never had a spa in the usual sense of a medicinal spring. The "gardens" date from the 1700s, created by artist Thomas Keyse and famed for their fireworks and concerts. The 4.5-acre (18,000 m2) park was redeveloped in 2006 at a cost of 2 million.
