Birling Gap and Belle Tout
Birling Gap and Belle Tout
Belle Tout being the first lighthouse for Beachy Head. During World War Two it was used by the military for target practice, and subsequently needed major rebuilding. It has recently been moved, as a whole, back from the cliff edge to prevent it falling into the sea. It is now a private residence.
