Rough moorland
Rough moorland
The photographer is standing in the shallow valley of a burn. The vegetation of the moorland is predominantly grasses, heather and mosses, which grow tall and uneven above the soggy peat beneath. It is not easy walking. The dominant hills in the distance are Healabhal Mhr (right) and Healabhal Bheag, together better known as MacLeod's Tables.
