Disused Talacre Railway Station (1)
Disused Talacre Railway Station (1)
Long closed but as viewed from steps that originally led to the up platform. The platforms on both sides of the track remain in situ. It opened around 1848, by the Chester and Holyhead Railway, which was later amalgamated into the London & North Western Railway. The station closed in February 1966, as part of the cost-saving reforms introduced by Dr Beeching. SJ1183 : Disused Talacre Railway Station (2)
