Rebuilt gates, Greenwich Park
Rebuilt gates, Greenwich Park
These gates had to be demolished to allow large construction vehicles in for the temporary stadium in the park for the 2012 Olympics. Afterwards they were rebuilt as closely as possible as the originals. Compare TQ3976 : Gates and Lodge, Greenwich Park.
Because of the Games
This snippet is to link together disparate photos which are not of 2012 Olympic / Paralympic events or venues, but of features or activities associated with them such as security, transport and advertising. Mostly but not all taken in Greenwich where Greenwich Park was used for equestrian events and pentathlon.
