NY8624 : Water channel to west of Hagworm Hill

taken 4 years ago, 4 km from Grains o' Th' Beck, County Durham, Great Britain

Water channel to west of Hagworm Hill
Water channel to west of Hagworm Hill
The channel seen in this image is an unusual feature. Typically streams drain separately in two different directions from a watershed. Hagworm Hill lies on the watershed between Teesdale and Lunedale as does this channel but OS mapping indicates a continuous water line descending both north to the Tees and south to the Lune.
