SH7783 : Cable-car pylon

Cable-car pylon
Cable-car pylon
The Great Orme has Britain's longest cable-car line. It ascends steeply from Happy Valley over the edge of Mynydd Isaf before levelling-out across the plateau. This necessitates a short pylon to avoid a sharp change of gradient, and gives a good view of the cabins from the quarrying spoil heaps nearby.
