Old Lizard lifeboathouse
This is the now disused Lizard lifeboathouse at Lizard point, Cornwall. The ramp down which the lifeboats used to travel fell into disrepair many years ago, but the remains of that ramp and the building itself survive to provide an interesting reminder of days gone by, and a handy point from which to look out into the English Channel at the modern ferryboats passing by. The pink thrift on the cliffside completes the attractive scene.
