SP1779 : Ravenshaw ford

taken 4 years ago, near to Solihull, Great Britain

Ravenshaw ford
Ravenshaw ford
The River Blythe is in spate after a day of heavy rain. The lane has been blocked off to prevent motor vehicles from sticking in the treacherous ford; otherwise, despite the proximity of the M42 motorway and expansion of the urban fringe, the scene has changed little over 51 years - see SP1779 : Ravenshaw ford.
River Blythe
The River Blythe flows through the West Midlands. It is a tributary of the River Tame.
