Temple Old Kirk
Temple Old Kirk
The church dates back to the Knights Templars, after which the village has gained its current name, formerly being called Balantrodoch. The building dates from the late 13th century, though 12th century masonry from an earlier building has been identified. The belfry is 17th century - these details are from the RCAHMS website at LinkExternal link.
