TF0920 : Compulsory Squalor

Compulsory Squalor
Compulsory Squalor
Of all the impositions of the modern Bureaucratic state none have done so much pervasive damage to the visual impact of our buildings as the wretched wheely-bin.

In a major redevelopment when they built Burghley Court the council spent huge amounts of money tidying up and renovating this whole area, and creating a pleasant little square in front of these houses. Then, a few years later, they introduced wheely-bins, despite there being nowhere to keep the nasty things.
