A43 in Blisworth
A43 in Blisworth
The Towcester to Northampton section of the A43 through here was a completely new road when it built in 1991, following a hedgeline between fields and the Civil Parish boundary between Blisworth to the east and the right and Gayton to the west and the left. Ordnance Survey maps show the boundary now following the edge of the road on the left so the running surfaces are in Blisworth, hence the title to the photograph. This is the view from the Gayton Road bridge in Blisworth, or if the photographer had been standing 10 metres to the left, from the Blisworth Road bridge in Gayton.
