taken 4 years ago, near to Bridge Trafford, Cheshire, Great Britain

Mickle Trafford Mill - north pit wheel.
Mickle Trafford Mill - north pit wheel.
This is driven by an undershot waterwheel and is on a wooden shaft. It is of wooden clasp arm construction with cast iron reinforcing brackets and carries an iron ring gear.

The mill has been disused since about the 1950s and a Trust is trying to raise funds for conservation and interpretation.
