Footbridge and dismantled railway remains, Upgang
The footbridge is used by golfers from the nearby Whitby Golf Club. The supports for the 6-span, steel viaduct which once carried the railway from Middlesbrough to Whitby via Loftus, Grinkle, Staithes, Hinderwell, Kettleness, Sandsend and Whitby West Cliff can be seen beyond.
