SK5235 : Hidden track, Attenborough

taken 5 years ago, near to Attenborough, Nottinghamshire, Great Britain

Hidden track, Attenborough
Hidden track, Attenborough
From this angle, the only evidence that there is any sort of a track, let alone a drivable one, is the pair of signs indicating the presence of a ford. On the extreme left can be seen a set of wooden railings associated with a foot crossing of the railway line between Nottingham and Trent Junction, and a flood wall protecting the line from high water levels (see SK5235 : A flood wall in action).
