Monk's Moor Outcrops
Monk's Moor Outcrops
The summit area of Monk's Moor sports a number of cairns and some quite substantial, though bouldery, gritstone outcrops. The ground underfoot is firmer and drier than much of the surrounding moorland, and the path consequently much better defined on the ground, making for much quicker progress on foot.
