SJ9796 : The Matley Oak

taken 12 years ago, near to Mottram in Longdendale, Tameside, Great Britain

The Matley Oak
The Matley Oak
Stile on footpath from Wrigley Fold to Harrop Edge. Both the Ordnance Survey, and 1940's online version, show an Oak tree at this location. Is this, then (on the right) THE Matley Oak? It looks a bit forlorn.
