Pennine Bridleway, Fording Roych Clough
Roych Clough with its steep sided valley has its source on the southern slopes of Brown Knoll at the head of the Edale Valley. Here the stream crosses the route of the Pennine Bridleway. It presents a challenging descent from the south and a long, rocky ascent northwards towards South Head for mountain bikers. Here the cyclist prepares for the long climb towards South Head.
