GeoGraph - photograph every grid square

There is something odd about the name of the only habitation in this grid square. Barlowack is mentioned in the parish register at least as early as 1757, and possibly earlier. Both Barluack and Hillfolds were recorded in the 1841 census, and the 1874 Ordnance Survey six-inch map shows the present farm as Hillfolds, while Barluach is a much smaller place further south, now completely vanished. Barluac, but not Hillfolds, occurs in the 1881 census, and today the old farm is called Barluack, while a modern bungalow beside it bears the name Hillfolds. So it seems that the name of the present farm was originally Hillfolds, and that the name Barluack migrated uphill from its original position to supersede it. Finally the old name was resurrected for the new bungalow by the farm.
