This is a lucky shot as it's almost free of Elgar House shadowing. One day somebody will pull Elgar house down and I do hope they don't hide the station again. It's a pleasing building that is still earning its keep.
SO8555 : Shrub Hill Station Note how the scrubby little tree obscures the portico. Am I alone in thinking there's a curse of little trees throughout the land? I think we are a lot more overgrown than many years ago. It's surprising how many shots are framed by trees (necessity sometimes rather than artistry) and many of mine just wouldn't work in the summer.
