The path from Woolas Grange Farm meets a path from Appleton Roebuck to Colton at this point. The field boundaries are securely fenced because of mixed farming activity. Sheep are grazing behind the photographer, but beyond the stile can be seen the golden sheen of oil-seed rape coming into flower.
