Armadale Castle
The section on the left was built as a house at the end of the eighteenth century, and extended to be a castle in 1815. It was burnt down in 1855, and is today a sculptured ruin. The large section in the middle was built as a replacement, but was abandoned to the elements in 1925. The only section in use is the white painted building at the far right.
