Torrisdale Bay from above Dalcharn
This is the view from my house. We have a tourist trap on the road below where just about everyone stops to take 'photos of this view. This property is opposite, and overlooks, the old croft known as 'The Street'.
Directly opposite across the Naver is the old settlement, and just around the corner of the sand dunes and along Torrisdale (pronounced 'Torrsdale) is the remains of an old iron boat buried in the sand.
The ridge opposite is Druim Chuvie (Chuibhe) where you can find rocks scoured by a glacier and lots of seashells at the top, about 160m or so above sea level.
