Stretford Cemetery

The chapel of rest stands in the older part of Stretford Cemetery. Although shown as a church on the O.S. map, it is a chapel of rest not used for regular church services. The old grave stones are quite tall at 120cm and higher. The new graves are to the east of the cemetery close to the vast Turn Moss playing fields. The new grave stones are much smaller, being 80cm to 100cm high. The whole cemetery is maintained to a high standard by Trafford Council.
