Floodplain of the Woodham Burn
Floodplain of the Woodham Burn
Between Mordon and Newton Aycliffe in mid-southern County Durham, there is an extensive area of low-lying and formerly marshy land drained by the River Skerne and its tributaries. This photo shows an isolated farm bridge over the Woodham Burn. The A1(M) lies immediately beyond the wood.
